BQ25122: for bq25122, bq51003

Part Number: BQ25122
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ51003

bq25122, and bq51003 as shown in the schematic below.

1. Please check if there is any abnormality in the circuit of bq25122 related part of the attached circuit diagram. Please let me know if something is wrong.

I have two questions about the test.

First, two test cases have been carried out but not all of them can be charged.

Test case: Connect the resistance values of R46, R47 and R48 as shown in the circuit diagram. After charging voltage (DC5V) is applied, check the charging progress.

Connect the resistance value of R46, R47, R48 to 0 ohm, and check charging progress after charging voltage (DC5V).

Please answer what you need to fix and confirm.

In the meantime, please adjust the VCC_BAT voltage from DC3.0V to DC4.2V and check the current consumption, so that mA is consumed from DC3.1V to DC3.3V.

2. Please check if there is any abnormality in the circuit of bq51003 related part of the attached circuit diagram. Please let me know if something is wrong.

The test results show that the DC5V output is unlikely to match the WR222230-26M8-G (RX Coil) and OUT pins (D1, D2, D3, D4). Let me know how to match

  • hello,

I have reviewed the BQ25122 portion and i see that you are not using the LDO?

So is the issue that you are unable to get any charge current at all? How are you measuring the charge current?

Are you seeing a fixed 5V on the input or is it fluctuating?

    regards,

    gautham
