I have very simple question for TPS2378 POE device,
We just started POE Customer support in Japan.
Could you tell us something for POE device function ?/

a) TPS2378 has APD Pin with AC Power Port
We want to know about CDB function , Dose this CDP pin work when ADP External Power supply ??
Yes, we want know this function will work or not work when APD External power .
b) If AC Adapter connected to ADP as External Power.
But If Ethernet Line ( from PSE ) will comment what happen ??
For instance
APD Power disconnected ....and get power from Ethernet from PSE??
Yes we want to know AC Adapter to Ethernet Cable hotswap situation .
c) If Ethernet cable connected to TPS2378
But if AC Adapter will connect to APD ad external power.
What happen this situation when hotswap Ethernet to AC Power ??
We checked to TPS2378 EVM user'guide.
And APD detect External Power and If TPS2378 Internal FET turn off,
We thinking something Voltage drop will appear between VDD(TP6) and RTN(TP8).
is this correct ?
If can possible could you provide waveform at Question b) and c) ??
Is ti possible ?
