WEBENCH® Tools/TPS40170: [Webench] FET change error

Hello,

I am TI Korea FAE (Roy Park)

And I have a question during TPS40170 Webench simulation.

In my simulation schematics, there is M1 and M2 FET. I would like to change M2 to same part as M1. But it isn't possible.

How can I solve it?

Hi Sang-il Park,

The device has dual Mosfet solution implementation where after changing one Mosfet (M1 or M2) WEBENCH tries to find the pair for it which holds good for the given conditions. Currently, WEBENCH doesn't have the option to select individual MOSFET for this device.

Hello Praveen,

Thank you for answer. By the way, I meant, both FET should be same.

But these are different when I create simulation firstly. And I couldn't change it.

Please see my link and give a guidance how to get same FET part.

Hi Sang-il Park,

Currently we don't have feature to select same FETs for M1 & M2 for this device.
