Dear,

I want to use BQ34110 in the NiMH battery gauge calculation, but I don't know what is the work flow of using this parts. I have following questions want to know:

1) How to test the data of the battery to get accurate modeling of the battery, what equipment do I need?

2) when get the data, how to convert the data to the message of registers setting of BQ34110?

3) is there any document to help debug the issue of BQ34110?

Hi John,

1) An environmental chamber, constant current load, power supply and system capable of logging Voltage, Current and Temperature are required.

2) the bq34110 evm with bqStudio andthe EV2300 or EV2400 can be used to perform the logging functions of your batteries. GPC packager has an export function to properly format the file for digestion by the gpccedv tool, found here: http://www.ti.com/tool/gpccedv
