TPS92518: Fsw on EVM GUI setting and TYPO? in d/s

Would you please let me know following?

 

Q1

Would you please let me know the reason  why Fsw  setting  is limitted between 10KHz to 1MHz  on TPS92518 EVM GUI?

Your recommendation is 10K to 1MHz as practically ?

I see switching frequency = 1KHz to 2MHz is available in TPS92518 data sheet page 1.

 

Q2

We see Pch FET and no cap of LC filter on Data sheet page 43/ Fig56 .

Isn't  it TYPO?

We see Nch FET and C14/C15 on TPS92518 Users Guide.

    Hello,

    It was set that way to prevent someone from accidently adjusting too far. It can manually be written to adjust outside of that range.

    It is supposed to be an N-channel. The capacitors are for the EVM. The datasheet schematic is just a reference schematic, the EVM is an actual design that was tested. C14 and C15 are optional. If you SHUNT FET dim you do not want them.
