TPS61085: TPS61085 comp wrong connect to IN

Dear TI,

What will happen if the COMP pin wrong connected to IN;Dose it affect the output performance?

In this application ,Vin=3V; Vout=8.7V;

Hi Joyce,
You should connect C4 to GND. If you connect it to Vin, it will affect output.

Could you please explain in detail what may affect? My customer want to evaluate the risk of this design.

Hi Joyce,
Because COMP is related to loop response and stability, if COMP is connected to Vin not GND, converter can' work rightly.

That's say we don't know what may happen, just know it can't work rightly.So if it does output right voltage,it just unstable ?
