Is there any spec on delay time EN-off to stop switching? I'd like to know this also TPS62150.

Hi Yamashita-san,

There is no specification, but it is very fast. As well, we have the newer, smaller, more accurate TPS62147/8.

What is the concern in your application?

Hi Chris,

My customer would like to estimate total discharge time. (1+2+3)
1. EN off to Switching off
2. total time of enable "output discharge" and output voltage will become Lo level at MCU's port
3. +margin

If 1. << 2. , they can ignore actual time of 1.
Please let me know if we have any data for thier refference. e.g. < xx usec max.

Hi Yamashita-san,

Yes, this delay time of a few usec (at most) is insignificant in your calculation.

As well, TPS62140 does not have output discharge. You must use the TPS62140A to achieve a weak output discharge through the PG pin as explained here: www.ti.com/.../slva644.pdf

TPS62148 has a normal and stronger output discharge function and is anyways recommended as a newer device.
