We are using TI's TL431X Precision Programmable Reference in one of our design. For this IC, till 2.5V reference, it's function is clear and above this reference we are not sure about its working. Because, as per datasheet, it seems to be grounded but our simulation results shows some voltage across the device. We are unable to find the relationship between the reference voltage and the voltage across this device. Would be helpful if you could help on this.
