UCC27524: Pulling up 3.3V to 5V

Application:
Vin = 3.3V

Vout = 5V

If I understand the datasheet correctly...if I leave the ENA and ENB pins floating, and tie VDD to 5V, then the output will always the 5V logical equivalent to the input?

Hi Nicholas,

Im an apps engineer on UCC27524, Thanks for asking about this device, Thats correct! The enable is active high. If ENx is floating, and VDD is present, it is pulled up to VDD through a 200k resistor, this allows it to have a defined state if being driven by high impedance output as well as to be drop in replaceable with the UCC2732x. The output should be the 5v if the VDD cap is properly sized to be at least 10xCiss and placed close to the IC VDD-GND pins.

Thanks for getting back Jeff. I'm using a .1uF and a 10uF cap on the input placed next to the pin.
