Hi Team,

One of our customer is looking for dual PWM controller with below minimum spec,

1.Duty Cycle range - 0% to 90 or 100% .

2.Internal ramp generation / ramp generation by using external components.

3.Frequecny : upto 500kHz or more.

4.Two single PWM outputs, which should be controlled independently.

Hello Shinu,

Based on the spec you shared, UCC28220 looks like the right choice for your application. This controller has a internal ramp generator for slope compensation (Pin5).

I would also recommend you to look at the UCC3806 family.

What is the application here?
Why do you need dual independent PWM controllers in a single package?
TI makes the UCC28220 dual PWM controller and this is used to control a single DC output.
For your application you could consider using two separate packages of the UCC28C45 family

Hi Sonal, John,

I think UCC28220 cannot be independently controlled and for UCC3806 dutycycle is limited to 50%. I had gone through these devices but not meeting the customer requirements.

Yes that's right.
TI does not make a dual PWM controller with separate feedback inputs.
You should recommend two separate controllers such as the UCC28C45.
Why do they want a single package ?
