Hi,

My customer is trying executing "LM25117_TRANS.LIB" with another simulator.

They have two questions about description of LM25117 model.

1. There is "TC=0,0" in the model of 44 line.

When setting TC directly, how should we describe?

2. Related to 414 line, we guess that "=" is necessary during "IS" and "2.843488e-9".

What do you think?

Hi Kuramochi,

1. I do not understand what exactly you are looking for with TC. Please note that the model does not support temperature dependencies.

If you would like to understand what that TC statement specifies. Please find the answer below:

TC is usually specified in the format TC = TC1, TC2

where TC1 and TC2 are linear and quadratic temperature coefficients respectively.

The value of resistor will be: R·(1+TC1*(T-Tnom)+TC2*(T-Tnom)^2).

2. I have tested in both PSPICE and TINA TI regarding the parameters when = is absent. It works fine. So = can be replaced by a space.

Does this means temperature characteristics of R3?

Kuramochi-San,

The TC statement does specify the temperature characteristics of R3. However, since it is specified as "Tc=0,0", the resistance of R3 does not vary with temperature.
