Hello all,

I would like to know the tolerance for watchdog window ratio. If the window ratio is 1:1, what is the tolerance for the ratio? Also, what factor influences the ratio?

    Hi RYO,

    The ratio is set by either a logic high or logic low signal on WRS. So long as your WRS signal meets the logic low/logic high specifications, the tolerance on the ratio is negligible as the internal timing within a single device will be consistent.

    The biggest source of error internal to the LDO for the watchdog is the watchdog duration.  The tolerance for the window watchdog duration is 10%.  The variation will be process variation with the current source and internal oscillator only as external resistors are not included in this specification.
