TPS54331: SS voltage

Part Number: TPS54331

Hi,

my customer use TPS54331 in buck-boost as below. And in normal operation, it seems SS voltage is ~6V. But in datasheet, recommended spec is up to 3v. So here are below questions:

1. the 3V spec is input voltage and 6V is output voltage, so it should be OK, right?

2. why is there 6V voltage at normal operation? datasheet seems has no description on this. In my opinion, SS determines the start reference voltage. Vref is only 0.8V, so there may be offset on this pin but need your help to clarify the details.

Looking forward to your reply and thank you so much.
