LDO with smaller Iq and Packages.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS7A05, TLV716P

Hi Team,

Could you help me find the TI LDO which competed with XC6504 ?  Customers care about the Iq and Packages. I see the XC6504 Iq and Packages are all so small , Iq=0.6ua and Packages 1X1 mm.
Thanks!

Iq and Packages

  • Hi Eggsy,

I would recommend looking at our TPS7A05 which is also available in a 1x1 mm package. Looking at both datasheets it seems both devices are rated for Iq from a minimum 0.6uA.  However it seems that our TPS7A05 has a higher PSRR and a lower dropout rating.

  • Hi Jose,

Thanks for your help! Customers feedback they would like to try them.

Another question, Customers would like to use two LDO in their board and if we have two channel LDO with low Iq and small package which they prefer.

Do we have two channels LDO with low Iq and small package?

    Thanks!

  • Eggsy,

The TLV716P is a good dual ldo in a 1.2 x.1.2 mm package, however the Iq is 50uA. Is this still good enough for your customer?
