TLC59116: Some TLC59116 questions

Hello,

I use TLC59116 RHB package. I have problem with TLC59116 power on. I use switch MIC94091YC6 for managing power on TLC59116.

* When I enable power through switch, VCC pin on TLC59116 fall down to about 0.6V.

* When I don't use switch for power managing and I directly connected VCC to 3.3V , power supply on TLC59116 was 3.3V

When I set the same conditions for TLC59116 PW package, power supply is good with switch and without switch. Output of my switch (image below) is connected on power supply of TLC59116 RHB.

Hi, Nikola,

That's quite strange.

Do you ever test the Vcc waveform for RHB package after the switch turns ON?

Or does this happen if you turn on your direct 3.3V?

Hi Kenneth,
Yes, I recorded Vcc signal and this signal fall down after switch turn on. When I turn on direct 3.3V to Vcc of TLC591116 (without switch), TLC59116 work correct.

Is this problem solved?

If not, which point do you test for Vcc? I suppose Vcc pin voltage should rise from 0 to 3.3V after you turn on the switch.

But you said it falls from 3.3V to 0.6V.

Can you also provide the waveform?
