LM74610-Q1: LM74610-Q1 With Lipo Battery Charging

Hello,

I want to ask about using LM74610-Q1 together with Lipo Battery Charger.

I need LM74610-Q1 for protecting from reverse battery polarity because it's replaceable Battery, and also can be charge via USB.

V_BATT Li-PO 3.7V & VCC is load with 30A max.

Because I can't find any reference for connecting charger with LM74610-Q1.

So, what I need to ask is.

Are the battery can be charging when connecting charger connection at Drain of mosfet?

Or any available TI Linear battery charger that have reverse battery protection? so I can connect the charger at Source of Mosfet.

Hi

When connecting battery charger at Drain of MOSFET, LM74610 does not allow reverse current (charging current direction).
This topology is not possible as shown in above figure.

However, this will do the job of reverse polarity protection.

So there are any TI battery charger that include reverse polarity protection? for me can place the charger in Source side of Mosfet.
