BQ76920EVM: CC3200

Dear Sir,
With the help of EV2400 I can interface between a pc and The bms board. But in any case suppose I don't have pc. then can It be possible to connect the CC3200 Board with the EV2400 or else with the BMS board. I want to send the data to the cloud. In that case what should be done?

Hi Arpita,

The CC3200 should be able to communicate with the bq76920E device. The bq76920 uses standard I2C, so any microcontroller that supports I2C can be used for this purpose. Please check the CC3200 documentation and product page for code examples. If you need help, you will need to start a different thread for the CC3200 device.

Hi Arpita,

The bq76940 has registers that are configurable through I2C. It does not have a processor. Here is an app note that shows sample code for programming the bq76920 (same device family as bq76940) using an MSP430 microcontroller: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva626b/slva626b.pdf

For CC3200 coding help, you will need to refer to the CC3200 documentation (I expect you will be able to find code examples) and start a new forum thread in the SimpleLink™ WiFi CC31xx/CC32xx E2E Forum if needed.
