LMR14010AEVM: Cold temperature operation

Part Number: LMR14010AEVM

The datasheet says the part can be stored down to -55C, but only operates down to -0C.

Is there a similar device that can operate down to -55C?

Hi William,

This should be typo as the recommended operation junction temp is -40C to 125C, pls refer to table 6.3 on LMR14010 data sheet.

Well, that makes sense, but it still leaves me with a problem that goes beyond just this device. What are my options for cold starting at -54C?

Hi William,

Sorry that we don't have this part specified for -54C operation range.

Normally chip can start to work at -54C ambient temp but some spec may vary out of data sheet spec., the chip power dissipation may cause junction temp rise to -40C or hihger which meet recommended operation temp ramge.

My customer is adamant about the parts being rated to -54C. They won't let us screen -40C parts for -54 operation. Bummer for me.
