Part Number: TL431A

Hi,

TL431A has two kinds of TO-92 packages: one formed lead, the other is straight lead.

How to differentiate them from the part number?

    Hi Oliver,

    Formed lead options are only available in tape and reel or ammo packaging. Straight lead options available in bulk pack only.  See image below.

    In the orderable part number, the designator after "LP" which is the TO-92 designator will follow with an M,R, or neither. The M stands for an ammo package and the R stands for reel. If the part number is neither, then it is a a straight lead in bulk package.

    Example:

    TL431AILP, is bulk package straight lead TO-92

    TL431AILPM, is ammo package formed lead TO-92

    TL431AILPR, is tape and reel package formed lead TO-92
