BQ29701 Way on and off

I'm evaluating BQ29701. Datesheet didn't understand.

1. I want to know the on-off mode of this chip.

2. How do the positive and negative terminals of this chip go on and off?

3. What peripheral circuit is better for detecting positive and negative terminals? The telephone given in Datesheet is too simple.

Hi Meng,
I am not sure i understand what you are asking. This chip is not designed to be turned on and off. It is a protector device which ought to be powered on all the time to protect the cell it is connected to.

Is it the MOS control on and off, is it the control ground end or the control power end?If it's grounded, should the battery be separated from the system?

Meng,

The device controls the fets. There are no charge pumps since this device uses low side FETS. For current safety conditions it looks at the voltage drop across the fets. If i didn't answer your question pls refer to the data sheet of the device.
