TPS54202: External LC parts reduction possibility

Hello application team,

I'm considering TPS54202 proposal for my client.
To pursue both the space and the system cost reduction, I'd like to know how much the possible reduction range of external inductor(L) and output capacitor(Cout) value. Could you instruct it with the following conditions?

Vin=24V, Vout=12V, Iout=0.2A

The output ripple is not large concern since it has LDO for the final output.

Some performance can be degraded unless the loop stability gets unstable.

Hi,

In theory, the calculation value of the min L is 1.5uH, and the min Cout is 3.3uF. I think you need to check the stability. You can set the L=1.5uH or a little larger, and check the Cout to choose a appropriate value. If the loop is unstable, you need to increase the output capacitance.
