TPS27081A: or-ing connection solution

hi,

I'm looking for a power-path solution, 2 inputs (1 battery up to 6-7V) and a usb input.

when the usb is in has the priority. battery is not rechargeable.

I was looking at load switches but are not suitable for or-ing -like connections, plus very few parts are >6V rated.

As current is low (1-2Amp) using oring controllers would make the app bulky.

so i was looking at 2x TPS27081A, one in reverse polarity protection (as for SLVA798) and one for the USB, in according to something like the attached pic.

I just wanted to ask whether someone tested such kind of configuration or used this parts for oring solutions.

if not, may you advice something? what I'm looking for is a simple power-path solution, 7V rated.
