(1)

In datasheet.There are VIT+(nom) and VIT-(nom).

Please let us know how to calucurate VIT+(nom) and VIT-(nom) when sense voltage is 3.3V.

(2)

VIL MAX 0.25V is very small.

Is this value correct ?

  • Hi Kura,

    (1)

VIT+/- nom is the nomial voltage which the sense voltage threshold will trigger a reset. For a sense voltage at 3.3V, this will either be +/- 4% or +/-7% depending on what part number you have. See Table 8 of the TPS3850-Q1 datasheet.

For example, TPS3850H33QDRCRQ1 is a 3.3V sense voltage with a tolerance threshold of 7%. The VIT+/- (nom) would be 3.531V and 3.069V respectively.

    (2)

This value is low. I will check this on my bench and get back to you.

    Thanks,
    Ethan
  • Hi Kura,

I have confirmed that the datasheet specs is correct. If the voltage is under 0.25 V than we guarantee a logic low. If the voltage is over 0.8 V, we guarantee a logic high. Any voltage in between is considered unknown and is an undetermined state.

    Hope this helps,
