[FAQ] TPS659037: What is OTP?

Part Number: TPS659037

What is OTP? Where can I find the OTP settings for a part number?

  • The TPS659037 utilizes one-time programmable (OTP) memory to configure its default state. Some examples of OTP settings include default output voltages, GPIO settings, power sequences, etc. Besides power sequence, most of this default state can be overwritten during run-time through I2C.

Take a look at the TPS659037 User's Guide (www.ti.com/.../sliu011) for all the OTP settings for the devices offered, as well as the register map (www.ti.com/.../sliu015) which describes if bits are read-write or read-only.
