LM5170-Q1: LM5170-Q1

Part Number: LM5170-Q1

Dear ALL:

we have a requirement  for hold up time that 10ms @800W ,12V.

and we select the LM5170-q1 for boost mode from 12V to 75V to charge the capacitor to storage energy , at buck mode from 75V~45V to 12V hold up time demand , so the LM5170-Q1 is available?

  • Hi Larry,

If you want to order the device it can be done here. Samples can be requested as well. If you need a very large quantity please let me know and I can find the correct person to put you in contact with.

    Thanks,

    Garrett

  • Hi Garrett Roecker:

Thanks very much!, if we want the device we can order it.

but I want ask whether this devices LM5170-q1 is available in technological ?  does it have schematic for reference ?

    the detailed as follow:

boost in recharge mode:  input:12V output:~75V , for store energy in capacitor Bank at boost mode.

Buck in hold up time mode:  input: 30V~75V, output: 12V@800W for duration 10mS

  • Hi Garrett Roecker:

Additional, pls see the block, have some questions for verify it ,thanks!

In normal operation, this module is in boost mode to charge Capacitor Bank up to 75V

In hold-up mode, this module is in buck mode to discharge the energy in Capacitor Bank to system

    questions 1:

At charge mode: by external source of 12V(a PSU output) to charge the capacitor bank to 75V at boost mode , this is feasible or not? does it need a pre-charge path for high voltage?

    question2:

Does it have reference design of voltage&current loop? how to control it ?
