hi,

we need to set an extremely large SS time w/ TPS7A80.

we estimated something like 3.3 / 4.7uF as CNR.

do you see any drawback in terms of stability?

    Hi Vincenzo,

    There should not be an issue with stability by placing a large Cnr capacitor; however, due to the quickstart functionality of TPS7A80 you will note two distinct ramp rates on your output. For the first 2 ms, you will see a faster ramp rate while the quickstart switch is closed.

    If you would like a more linear startup, please consider TPS7A90.
