[FAQ] TPS65086: How do I program sequencing?

Part Number: TPS65086

How do I program sequencing?

  • The sequences for the TPS65086, TPS650864, and TPS650861 families are stored in One-Time Programmable (OTP) memory.

For the TPS65086 and TPS650864, the sequences are programmed during production in the factory and cannot be modified by customers.

The TPS650861 has an OTP that is designed to be programmed by the customer to fit many designs. Details on how to program it can be found in the TPS650861 Product Folder.

Factory programming of a custom version of TPS65086, TPS650861, or TPS650864 requires additional resources and will be evaluated based on the business case. The TPS650860 and TPS6508641 are examples of versions of the TPS65086x family that address particular SoCs, but are not customer programmable.

Alternatively, VRs can also be enabled/disabled by I2C using a microcontroller on board.
