    Hello,

    The bq40z80 is very similar to the bq40z50 gauging, as it uses Impedance Track. However, it supports up to 7S packs, compared to the 4S support with the bq40z50. This allows larger battery packs suitable for vacuum cleaners. There are also several new features that allow customization of several pins to be used as status and flag outputs, LED pushbutton, and up to 6 LED support.
