LM53601-Q1: The work temprature of the LM53601-Q1

Part Number: LM53601-Q1

Hi E2E,

I meet a question about LM536015. My product is a BOX,  and  LM536015 is  assembled on the board. Then my BOX is working at 125 ℃, I find that the current is increased 0.1A than the normal 0.3A@5V. When the ambient temperature drops, the chip works again. So I want to know how many hours the IC could be worked at 125℃。

  • It is not our policy to state the maximum lifetime of a device at a given temperature. The maximum junction temperature for this device is 150C.
Operating at junction temperatures above 125C will degrage the lifetime. The maximum ambient temperature depends on the application.
  • Ok. The datasheet discribe the device "Device Temperature Grade 1: –40°C to 125°C Ambient Operating Temperature Range" and "–40°C to 150°C Junction Temperature Range". So I think TI must do some test to insure the device can be worked normal at the Ambient Operating Temperature Range. Because my product is working at the 125°C.   Is there some test can tell me the normal working hours at the maximum ambient operating temperature? Thank you!

  • Reliability testing is done with no power dissipation in the device so that the ambient and juction are at the same temperature.
