for a new CIS line lighting module customer has following requirements:
- 16 LED channels, but only 2 are on at the same time
- each LED is for 20us on and then will be switch within 4us
- max current 100-120mA per ch
- each ch current is different but constant
- now PWM control but constant current sink
- request 10bit resolution but minimum 8bit
In the past they used the TLC5923 in which the grayscale register could be configured and the ON/OFF register + Latch could be used for the switching. But the TLC5923 has only 128 grey steps and only 80mA/ch. Is there an other product fulfilling the requirements?
An other idea is to use an 1 or 2 ch current sink dirver with a MUX to distribute to the different LED ch. May be with a SPI DAC and Latch. Do you have any proposals here?
