TPS61021A: input current of EN pin

Guru 29720 points
Part Number: TPS61021A

Hi Team,

Is there any data of input current of EN pin?
I believe the value is "± a few uA" at most but wants to know it just for reference.

Best Regards,
Yaita / Japan disty

  • Hi Yaita-san,

It is around 1-3uA based on the voltage level on the EN pin. If VEN=2V, then it is around 2uA.

  • Hi Helen-san,

Thank you for your kind support!

    1)
I believe input current is around ±(1-3 uA) when VEN=0V?
    Is my understanding correct?

    2)
Is the following actual measured value? (design value?)
    >It is around 1-3uA based on the voltage level on the EN pin. If VEN=2V, then it is around 2uA.

  • Hi Yaita-San,

    Please check my reply below:

-->  what do u mean by input current? Iin or Ien flow into the EN pin?

--> This is a design value, there's a resistor internally connects from the EN to GND, which is around 1M ohm.

  • Hi Yaita,

When VEN=0, the IC is in shutdown mode. the current will flow into the VIN pin and SW pin, which is less than 3uA totally. There's nearly no current flow into the EN pin.
