Hello,

we want to take a TPS561201 to generate 5.4V from a 12V source. In the datasheet VFB is defined with typ 0.768V. We take 10k as R1 and 60.4k as R2 and we are expecting 5.4V. But we are measuring 0.8V at the VFB and 5.59V at the output. We are not understanding the datasheet, because there is given IVFB=0µA at 0.8V. Is it correct?

What is the right value of the voltage regulator?

Did you test the FB voltage with np load ?
Add some loading, such as 500mA, tests again.

thank you for reply, I will try it, but we don't need the 500mA.. We took this part because it has the ECO mode. Only in some peaks (5ms) we need ca. 250mA.

add 100mA loading is ok for the test.

with 500mA I will get the right output. I have now reduced the R1/R2 so that I will get with our load the expected output value.
