BQ25120A: bq2512x series

Hi,

I know that there is already some thread that ask defference of bq2512x series but let me make clear it here.

  1. Can you explain the difference between bq25121 and bq25121A, and also the reason of bq25121 NRND?
  2. Is the difference between bq25120A, bq25121A and bq25122 is just only the default SYS voltage? It will be helpful if you can prepare the app note abut the difference because bq2512x series are very similar and so it's difficult to fild the difference easily from the customer's view.

    Please find my response below-

    1. BQ25121A has a couple changes which is linked here. We have made the part more robust to support different adapters/ corner cases on push button etc., e2e.ti.com/.../632901

    2. That is a good idea! yes the default VSYS voltage is different. Also the BQ25121A has the watchdog timer disabled as well.

    Thank you for your comment. We have already communicated with Pearl but we would like to increase the opportunity of bq250xx and bq2512x, so the app note will be helpful. I'll join the BMS DD in this oct. so it's nice to meet you at that time!!
