Hi,

1. What happen if using 12V input source to charge 3 cells (12.6V) Li battery with BQ24133?

2. Is it possible to use 12V on BQ24133 AVCC and 15V on PVCC? If yes, what need to watch out?

    Ken,

    Regarding 1, the charger will only be able to charge the 3 cells up to slightly below 12V.

    Regarding 2, even with 15V on PVCC and 12V on AVCC, you will only be able to charge to ~ AVCC because the charger turns off when the voltage at AVCC is close to the battery voltage (measured at SRN pin). This is the SLEEP comparator with spec VSLEEP.
