Hi All
Customer is trying to select a temp probe and has three possible choices, one question is the TCC, do we have a requirements. Also the pack is a 4s9p pack
Here is the spec for the Cells that make up our pack. https://bioennopower.com/collections/lifepo4-lithium-iron-phosphate-cells/products/26650-3-2v-3200-mah-2c-lifepo4-cells-4-pcs
We are trying to select a temp probe for the battery chip bq34110. The data sheet gives an idea on what temp probes to use. But I don’t see if it needs a specific thermal time constant (TTC). Is there a minimum TCC we need for the chip to work? We are looking at two probes…
103at-11 https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Semitec/103AT-11?qs=wgO0AD0o1vvXePzqWokBCw%3D%3D
103at-4 https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Semitec/103AT-4-80025?qs=wgO0AD0o1vu2WL6jZLS9SQ%3D%3D
I’d prefer the at-11 due to the gauge of the wire but the TTC is 75sec.
The at-4 is much better at TTC but the wire gauge is so small we may have to change connectors.
We also like this temp probe but its not the “103at” like listed in the datasheet.
