TPS549D22: I_PG max or VOL_max for PGOOD pin

Hello,

TPS549D22 datasheet only defines TYP value for PGOOD sink current, I_PG with V_PGOOD=0.5V condition like the below.

Then I would like to know MAX sink current value with V_PGOOD = 0.3V condition. (I want to design with VOL_MAX < 0.3V).

Don’t we have any data for that?

Hi Oba,

Base on the ATE data, 6.9mA is the MAX sink current with V_PGOOD=0.5V. With that, the fixed resistance is about 72.5ohm. So your MAX sink current value for V_PGOOD=0.3V is ~4.14mA.

Hello,

I’m very sorry, my question may not be good.

I tested with a EVM and its ON resistance was around 86ohm.

So I guess 6.9mA(72.5ohm) you answered is just MAX sink current at V_PGOOD=0.5V. it means 72.5ohm would be MIN of ON resistance.

What I really want to know is maximum sink current to keep V_PGOOD under 0.3V to determine external pull-up circuit.

It means I need MIN of sink current at V_PGOOD=0.3V or MAX ON resistance.

Could you tell me this value?

based on the test data, the min Isink should be 4.26mA.
