BQ24600EVM: R4 and R5 values

Hello,

I am using the BQ24600 EVM. The BOM lists R4 as a 200K and R5 as a 100K. Note 3 on the schematic lists R4 as a 9.31K and R5 as a 430K. Which is correct for Vin = 12V and Vout = 8.4V?

Hello Brad,
R14 and R15 in the schematic need to be changed to set the charge regulation voltage of your battery according to Eq. 1 under 7.3.1 of the datasheet. Looking at the EVM BOM and the schematic, R4 and R5 are listed as 200k and 100k respectively. I am not sure where it is listing as 9.31k and 430k. Can you send me a picture of the section you are referring to?

The schematic listed in the BQ24600 EVM manual (SLUU410) has a table under Note 3. See picture attached.

Hello Brad,
This seems to be a typo in the schematic. Note 3 is referring to R10 and R11 in the resistor divider between VREF and TS, which are different for the different devices. R4 should be 200k and R5 should be 100k. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we are working to update the document.
