Balancer for Supercap

Hello,

I have a general question. I would like to know, if a balancer would be needed for Supercaps, that are connected in series. And what would be the concerns when choosing the balancing scheme?

Purpose of cell balancing to make sure all cells are charge and discharge to same level.
It's hard to say without details of your configuration.
