BQ25703A: BQ25703A without host communication

Hi,
the application diagram would meet my demands to a charger with the following features:
- 4 Li+ cells charging
- Powerpath - technology
- High efficiency
The problem is the host interface which would pull the development costs above a given limit.
Because that I like to ask the following questions:
1. Is it possible to use the bq25703A without host?
2. Is it possible to reach the same efficiency and powerpath behaviour with a bq2461x?

    No. BQ25703A is a host controlled device. Without I2C commands, the charging is not able to be enabled, terminated.

    2. Is it possible to reach the same efficiency and powerpath behaviour with a bq2461x?
    Yes, please refer to the datasheet efficiency, at 20Vin 4S battery, the peak efficiency is around 96% for both two devices.
