Hello,

Would you have any C sample code (in user space) showing how to use these linux drivers for BQ27XXX battery ?

I would like to use HDQ but I dcan't figure out where I can specify the GPIO used to this driver...

Hi,

Thank you for your help Onyx. Unfortunately, it did not resolve my issue.

My platform (iMX6UL processor by NXP) runs with Debian, so the philosophy is different (MSP430 microcontroller does not run any Linux OS, I guess).

That is why I followed the instructions mentioned here :

This link explains the modifications needed in Kernel configuration before compilation. But :
1) What modifications should I do (if any) in device tree to use GPIO 114 (for instance) as HDQ line ?
2) How should I use this driver from user-space in my C code ?

Apparently, another person had the same kinds of questions with I2C :

The device tree and GPIO structure are specific to your platform so this information should be available from your Linux baseport vendor (NXP?).
