The status of my skills in designing high-efficiency charger circuits is that of a beginner.
Therefore, I would like to ask if there are solutions and supporting tools for charging ICs
similar to the excellent DC / DC converter design support of WEBENCH?

Hello Frank,
This is one of our older legacy devices, and unfortunately we do not have WEBENCH to support it unlike our newer products. A good idea is to follow the evm guide as closely as possible and also use the calculator tool linked below to choose your external components based on your application.

many thanks. All additional information help to improve the security of a decision.
But the mentioned link leads to a calculation tool for the bq24640.
Is that correct?

Hello Frank,

The excel sheet has calculations for bq246xx family. If you look at the bottom of the bqstroller excel sheet, there are separate sheets corresponding to different part numbers, and bq24616 is one of them.
