Hello, Newby here. I am building LED luminaires. The LED strip is Constant Voltage type. 24VDC powered. We power the unit with a standard switchmode type power supply. I would like to find a chip that may do all of the following but not sure what is out there:
-External DC power could be 22 to 30VDC
-Would like PWM to be high frequency such as 1000HZ or your suggestion. The higher frequency is so the LED light pulses faster than vision equipment cameras.
-Would like the chip to have internal driver to act as a smoothing DC DC convertor.
-Will be connecting the chip to a Bourns potentiometer PTM90 series.
Please please offer suggestions as I am new to this forum and would like something decent to present to the Electronic Contractor.
NOTE: I found one of these on the internet and it seems to work perfect. Just trying to minimize space by using maybe 1 chip vs. this:
