UCC27531: What is this IDDoff current refer to in UCC27531-Q1 datasheet?

Part Number: UCC27531

Hi

Can you help me with my customer's question? Can you help to elaborate on below parameters from UCC27531-Q1 datasheet? And also what's the device quiescent current? Many thanks!

  • Hi Ted,

Thanks for reaching out on e2e, good to hear from you.

This spec in this datasheet is discrete about how the quiescent current consumption performs.

Idd_off = current when VDD is just below UVLO

quiescent current is when the part VDD is above UVLO.

when IN,EN = GND startup is 217uA which tells us theres a pull up in which a potential is applied across the pull up when IN,EN is brought to GND vs VDD.

after looking at char data for quiescent current it appears this part doesnt reach more than 450uA across voltage and temp. the max being 300uA@7V and 450uA@35V

note: that the max current still happens at max temp because of the inverse temp coeff. of the this resistor.

Hope this answers your question, please let me know if you have any more!

    Thanks,
