TPS92692: Soft-Sart pin design

Hi,

My LED product needs a function that light from dark to bright during 4 sec, smooth and without MCU/DSP control. Refer to TPS92692 SS pin design, the calcullate resualt is 47uF. Is it good for this application? If TI has good solution, please let me know, thank you.

LED spec1：15 ~ 24V, 350~ 700mA

LED spec2：35 ~ 42V, 350~ 700mA

Topology：Buck or Flyback.

    Hi Che Yi,

    Soft-Start on the TPS92692 driver will not function the way described above in your question with the 4 sec controlled ramp.  The way to do this is to use the IADJ pin and linearly ramping that control to control the current in the LED.
