My customer is trying to use BQ4050EVM-561 to connect with the BQ studio however there is an issue of constant connection and disconnection .

Whenever press the wake up it momentarily wakes up and connects but after a few seconds the EVM again disconnects with the BQ studio

The same is happening in my laptop as well when tested at my lab .

Please help me resolve this

    If your pack voltage is below shutdown voltage then you will have constant shutdown. For that, you need a minimum of 3.5V on the battery after wake up. Please follow DS for connections.

    Hello Team ,

     As you can see we are able to get the connection with BQ4050 established . The cell voltage measure through the resistor divider network is 800mV . When i try to calibrate the same it says there is an error as cell voltage measure is out of range .

    We have not installed the fuse . F1 is no mount . 

    Can you please help me understand any reason why cell voltage is showing up wrong ? I have changed the cell config to 4 cells in the DA registers

    Even though the screenshot doesnt show the BQ4050 EVM connected its becase i have taken the screen shot at my desk once i disconnected the EVM .

    Please take a photo of your connections to the evm and then send them over. I have checked out 4s with the 4050 fw on the bq40z50 evm. It works fine. Your Vbat looks OK. I'm puzzled by your cell voltages though. Send me the srec you have on the board. I'll have someone look at it here.
