LM5060: Use with VIN down to 3.5V

Is there a way to diode OR in a 5.5V power supply to either VIN and/or SENSE so that the chip sees its minimum input voltage but then operate down to 3.5V at the drain of the NFET?

Do you mean like this? Though, I had never verified but it looks as a workable solution. Can you please share your system requirements - max. voltage, max. current and use case details.

Hi Jeff,

Please look at TPS24751 15A eFuse. 2.5 V to 18 V is the operating voltage.

Thanks. I need up to 30V. Its for a validation board. We have charger's that operate from 3.5V to 30V.

Then work around solution like the above is the only option from our existing portfolio.
