Hello,
My customer has a question.
Q.
The following description was on the product page of TPS51716.
Iout VDDQ (Max) (A) | 20
Although the TPS 51716 does not have built-in FET,
Why are there such restrictions?

Hi Watanabe,
The current rating is mainly determined by the external MOSFET.
A higher current rating MOSFET comes with higher gate capacitance.
With limited gate drive capabiilty of TPS51716, we suggest to keep current rating below 20A.
So 20A is not restricion, it is just a recommendation.
Thanks
