TPS2115: Auto switch configuration for TPS2115

Hi,

I want to design an auto switch configuration from two power supplies of 5V@3A.

What should be the inputs D0 and D1 in order to do so, it's not straightforward from the datasheet because in figure 14. the D0 is floating and D1 is '0' while in page 17 it said that D0 should be equal to '1' and D1 equal to '0'.

Hi Nir,

Both D0 and D1 have an internal 1uA pullup. Therefore, if the pin is left floating, then it is actually set to a 1 value without needing to be tied to an external voltage. With this in mind, the configuration in figure 14 is showing D0=1 and D1=0. This matches the description on page 17.

I also noticed that your supplies are 5V/3A. is the 2A max rating for the device enough for your application?
