Hi Team,

I have a customer who wants to use two battery packs, each protected by the BQ29700 as shown below:

Would a configuration like this work?

    Hi Mihir,
    This is an overkill. Their protection settings has to be exactly the same, but you know the response time of the devices may differ slightly and you may have a situation of one turning off while the other is still on in the event of a safety condition. I wouldn't recommend doing this.
