    Hi Tim,

    Thanks for your interest in UCC25630-1EVM. The purpose of the diode bridge and the bleed resistors is to mimic a PFC front end that is lightly loaded. The diode bridge itself is also necessary for X cap discharge to function properly so that the controller can complete the circuit from Line -> HV pin -> primary ground -> Neutral.

    The application the EVM design is modeled after is a AC/DC power supply where the LLC is fed by a PFC front end.
